Pigpen Theatre Co.

PigPen creates atmospheric theatrical fables with a unique blend of live music, puppetry, movement, and clever lighting effects. Formed as freshmen at Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in 2008, PigPen has toured nationally and became the first company in history to win the top honor for a play at the New York City International Fringe Festival two years in a row, 2010 and 2011. Its first full-length production, The Old Man and the Old Moon, opened in Manhattan to rave reviews. The New York Times Critics Pick! deemed it “Delightful to watch… a really fine time… words play second fiddle to the giddy feelings it inspires.” and New York Magazine Critics Pick! hailed it to be “An all-ages journey into the frontiers of undiluted imagination.” Next up for the boys is an agreement with Writers House, one of the world’s leading young adult literary agencies, to develop a debut children’s novel.

The Parkington Sisters are Wellfleet, Massachusetts, natives who emerged from a lineage of musicians. The four sisters have toured extensively across the US, Canada, and Europe with the Dropkick Murphys, opened for Mavis Staples at Symphony Hall in Boston, performed at the 2011 Bonnaroo festival, and even shared the stage with Bruce Springsteen. Their 2011 debut album, Till Voices Wake Us, was produced by Joel Hamilton (Tom Waits, Elvis Costello) and recorded at Avatar Studios and Studio G in New York City. The album was selected by Acoustic Guitar Magazine as one of the top essential albums of 2011. The sisters are currently recording their follow up album, which will be released early 2013.
