Using Afro-Venezuelan rhythms, guitarist and composer Pedro Barboza will present different study techniques and strategies for the research and development of a personal music style with tools to fit any genre.
Music improvisation has played a major role in the development of traditional music of many different cultures. Jazz has influenced how traditional music is performed, and that has created new genres over the past few years. Nonetheless, many traditional performers improvise by using jazz, blues, and rock as points of reference.
