Oscar Stagnaro and the Peruvian Tinge present a blend of jazz and a wide variety of Peruvian and Afro-Peruvian music, including festejo, landó, Marinera, and huayño.

Stagnaro is a Grammy-winning bassist and Berklee educator who has performed with acclaimed musicians such as Paquito D'Rivera '03H, David Liebman (a guest artist with the Berklee Global Jazz Institute), Dianne Schuur, Keith Lockhart, and Charlie Sepúlveda, among others.

Stagnaro has been lauded by Bass Player Magazine for his "technical agility, advanced harmonic and melodic knowledge, and grounding in funk and R&B" along with "his dedication to Latin traditions," which "give him the ultimate flexibility when it comes time to lay down a groove."
