Olivia Pérez-Collellmir is a solo pianist, bandleader, and composer from Barcelona, Spain. Noted in Arts Fuse as a “Spanish virtuoso” who adds a "flamenco touch to her chamber jazz,” Pérez-Collellmir’s most recent performance highlights include playing on the soundtrack of Isla Bonita by renowned director Fernando Colomo, touring with Spanish Grammy winner Rosana Arbelo, performing an honorary concert at Berklee for the legendary Rita Moreno, and being invited to give private performances for United States Secretary of State John Kerry, opera star Renée Fleming, and Metropolitan Opera General Manager Peter Gelb.

A scholarship recipient at Berklee, Pérez-Collellmir received her first degree in classical performance at the Conservatori Municipal de Música de Barcelona before moving to Boston to expand her studies within the idioms of jazz and multicultural music. She is the composer and performer of the award-winning compositions “Barcelona Flamenco” and “Together,” which she premiered at the Berklee Performance Center in 2015. A winner of the Berklee Piano Department’s prestigious Chair Award, Pérez-Collellmir’s upcoming performances include shows at the Beehive who praise her as "a new talent on the rise."

Combining the syncopated, improvisational style of jazz with the fiery flamenco language of her country, Pérez-Collellmir and her band of international musicians will deliver an exciting evening of innovative and eclectic music.
