In this master class, Spanish singer-songwriter Olga Román will perform original songs and demonstrate performance techniques for cross-genre styles and rhythmic influences. Known for melding South American, Brazilian, jazz, and pop styles, Román will perform with guitarist Claudio Ragazzi of the Film Scoring Department at Berklee College of Music.
Román has been nominated for a Spanish Goya Film Award for her song “Again,” and is the recipient of a Fulbright grant. She is an associate professor of voice at Berklee’s campus in Valencia, Spain.
