Influenced by the feel-good music of Justin Timberlake, Al Green, Sting, and Bruno Mars, Nick Black has created a sound that is unique, yet familiar and nostalgic.

Black grew up between two worlds: his family’s deep ties to church and Memphis, Tennessee, where soul, R&B, rock ’n’ roll, and blues legends made names for themselves. He released his first album, The Soul Diaries, in 2012.

Venturing into new territory with his recently released single “Grenadine,” Black pursues his curiosity in electronic music, adding dance beats to his versatile sound.

Black has been featured on Muscle Shoals to Music Row, a concert series filmed at the legendary Fame Recording Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, as well as on Americana and roots channel DittyTV.

Black won Juneteenth awards in 2015 for album of the year and band of the year. He also won the 2016 Blues Music Award for band of the year for his work with award-winning blues and boogie-woogie band Victor Wainwright & the WildRoots.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Zoe Sparks is a multi-instrumentalist and singer. Influenced by music from the 1970s to the present, Sparks plays R&B, funk, soul, hip-hop, and more.

Sparks attends Berklee College of Music, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in bass performance with a minor in electronic performance.
