Gérard Grisey's fascination with the physics of sound contributed to what has become known as Spectralism. Boston Conservatory at Berklee musicians sit side-by-side with members of Ensemble intercontemporain for a performance of Grisey's seminal work. Featuring Ensemble intercontemporain: Emmanuelle Ophéle, flute; Jens McManama, horn; Samuel Favre, percussion; Hidéki Nagano, piano; and John Stulz, viola.
