The Nashville Musician's Union has started an ongoing event called the Musician/Songwriter Jam. You do not have to be a union member to participate. Songwriters are encouraged to send John Mattick '80 an MP3 or link to their song and hopefully a chart of their song as a PDF or JPEG to jmattick@comcast.net. Mattick will organize the songs and share them in advance with the musicians who also participate. It is a great opportunity to network with other musicians and songwriters and get experience reading charts and working in a recording session environment without stress. Musicians and songwriters are encouraged to participate.
