Using original drum set compositions, Henrique De Almeida—a drum set artist, published author, and Berklee College of Music professor Henrique De Almeida—takes students on a musical journey that includes polyrhythms, Moeller technique, jazz coordination, and jazz fusion double-pedal integrations.
The presentation focuses on multitasking practicing that incorporates techniques, musical forms, tempo changes, chart reading, rhythmic interpretation, and many other musical skills that directly correspond to live performance. All practicing examples can be used as a standalone performance for final exam prepared pieces, jury sessions, and graduation recitals.
