Mother Moses is a folk/rock band that was formed in 2013 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Jon Cox. The band consists of Cox, Ellen “the Steam Freak” Shultz (vocals), Collin “the Prom Dancer” Dennen (bass, vocals), and Dylan ”the Ham Master” Vadakin (drums). They met while at Berklee and have spent the last year playing local shows and working to release their debut album, Slow the Fire. It showcases Cox's deep admiration for acoustic and vocally driven music, which inspired the songs on the album.
