John Cattini and Max Challis founded Morningbird in the summer of 2014 with a couple of bedroom recording sessions that became their self-titled debut EP (released October 2015). As the two continued to grow musically, they kept writing and recording. After a year of writing, recording, producing, and mixing, they finished Only Believe in Love, their first full-length album, still having never played a live set together. Morningbird released Only Believe in Love in September 2017.

Cattini and Challis brought together their closest friends—Isak Kotecki, Connor Frawley, and Ian Ho—to form the full five-piece band in the fall of 2016. The band connected with one another from the beginning and began performing. It continues to play shows in the northeastern United States, honing its live act and growing its fanbase.

The House on Cliff is a powerful quartet influenced by bands such as Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, the Who, and the Raconteurs. Since the fall of 2014, the band has been on six national tours, toured the UK with SayWeCanFly, and toured Canada with Dave Days. The band was also awarded a Limelight Award for Best Band in 2015, nominated for Best in State (MA) at the 2016 New England Music Awards, won Hard Rock Rising: Battle of the Bands in 2017, and released two EPs. The House on Cliff's most recent EP, Skin & Bones, is powerful, lyrically driven, and emotionally charged. In July of last year, the band released its most recent single, "Life Goes On," before heading out on a five-week U.S. tour.
