Presented by the Berklee Musical Theater Ensemble and Berklee Musical Theater Orchestra, Memphis tells the fictional story of disc jockey Huey Calhoun, a "good ol' boy" with a passion for R&B, and Felicia Farrell, an up-and-coming African American singer, who meet each other one fateful night on Beale Street.

Set in the 1950s in rock 'n' roll's early stomping grounds, Memphis tells the tale of their dangerous affair. As their careers rise, their relationship is tested by ambition and the pressures of a world unable to accept their love.

Content advisory: The script of Memphis contains some violence and racist language and behavior reflective of the time period that some audience members may find offensive.

Tickets are also available for a Wednesday, November 15 performance of Memphis.
