Max Brandenburg

Max Brandenburg is a classically trained pianist and singer-songwriter who combines those aspects in his original music, a mix of catchy and heartfelt pop, jazz, and soul tunes as well as stirring, acoustic rock ballads. He has played in various types of ensembles ranging from rock to chamber music, was part of a marching band and his high school’s orchestra and choir, and has performed the lead roles in several high school musical productions like West Side Story. Brandenburg has won several competitions including Jugend Musiziert, a renowned, nationwide competition for young musicians in Germany at which he won first prize in the pop vocals category. After graduating from high school, he started studying songwriting at Berklee College of Music, where he's currently in his first semester. Brandenburg is now working on several projects and recording his original music with his fellow music students.
