The  joropo llanero music from Colombia and Venezuela catches the attention of many musicians around the world. For this reason, in 2012, bassist Mario Criales decided travel to los Llanos Colombo-Venezolanos, the place where you find the pure traditions of this music. His main plan was to adopt the language and make a conceptual and theoretic work about rhythms, melodies, and harmonic structures, work that was made in collaboration with Oscar Stagnaro. Criales was contacted to make a modern app where people could study and learn this musical genre by exercises on "Play Alone," a method used on most jazz and Afro-Cuban books. For this clinic, Criales will show the funtionality of this book and the abilities that can be demostrated by the bass player.
