Hailing from Mexico City, Mexico, Maria Vertiz is a composer, producer, songwriter, and arranger who creates music filled with ethnic sounds, atmospheric ideas, and structural concepts from different eras. She believes in creating parallel universes through music, using a combination of world music and ethereal sounds. Vertiz, whose passion is evident in her music, comes from a musical family—her father is a composer and her mother a songwriter.
