Maria Rowinska's introduction to bossa nova began at a young age, by listening to Elis & Tom with her father. Her desire to learn bossa expanded to samba, choro, and other Brazilian styles and led her to Berklee College of Music, where she pursues Latin American performance studies in voice and percussion.
