Maddie Jay, a self-proclaimed “bedroom producer” based in Los Angeles, relies on her roots as a bass player to inform beats and productions she creates in her apartment, referencing everything from psychedelic rock to lo-fi hip-hop to create an immersive, upbeat sound. Although she uses songwriting to explore her L.A. angst, she draws from lighter, vintage influences such as Harry Nilsson and the Beach Boys to round out her palette.

Jay grew up in the wilderness of northern British Columbia, Canada. She found her first real love in the bass guitar at age 16 and never looked back. After attending Berklee College of Music on scholarship, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a “hired gun.” After finding more satisfaction on her days off working on her laptop, she began releasing music under her own name.

Jackson Lundy is a singer-songwriter from New York City whose music is a blend of R&B, jazz and neo-soul. Mixing softer songwriting with hip-hop–inspired drums and 808 bass gives Lundy’s music a unique sound that can be played at a party or on a long drive. Lundy’s single “Calypso” has surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify.
