Kamila Csengeova
Kamila Csengeova is a guitarist from the Czech Republic who graduated from Jaroslav Jezek Conservatory in Prague with a double performance major in jazz and classical guitar. She is also a recipient of the John LaPorta Award from Berklee. Among her influences are Jim Hall, Dave Holland, Joe Pass, Chick Corea, Bill Evans, and Kurt Rosenwinkel. Besides jazz, she is also influenced by classical guitarists Christopher Parkening and Andres Segovia. She will present a repertoire consisting of a variety of jazz and Latin music, both classical and contemporary, in band, duo, and solo formats.
