Joaquina Mertz

Joaquina Mertz is a Mexican singer-songwriter who is passionate about performance and the connection between her, the band, and the audience. Although she was trained classically, she fell deeply in love with jazz, R&B, blues, and Latin folklore. Mertz wants her music to be inclusive of all types of people, and deeply believes in the change that comes from art, especially music. She is currently based in Boston and often travels to Mexico to do what she loves most.
