Jay Brannan / Ev Horan
New York-based Jay Brannan has been writing and performing sweet, sad folk songs with a dose of cynical humor since 2006. He has released a string of albums that topped the iTunes Singer-Songwriter and Billboard Heatseekers charts: Goddamned, produced by Will Golden (Meiko, Michelle Branch); In Living Cover, a compilation of two originals and seven covers recorded in the bedroom of his friend’s apartment in Brooklyn; and Rob Me Blind, produced by the legendary David Kahne (Regina Spektor, the Bangles, Paul McCartney, Kelly Clarkson, and Lana Del Rey, among others).
Brannan’s touring has taken him throughout the United States and to Canada, Britain, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and elsewhere.
