Having lived in Ohio, Florida, and New York, one of the main influences in Jamichael Frazier's artistic work in music and photography are the stories found in suburban and urban communities. With a background in classical piano and flute as well as photography, scholarship recipient Frazier is studying jazz at Berklee College of Music.

Frazier is studying electronic production and design, but isn’t focused on a single-track career. While performing is his escape and ultimate passion in life, he dreams of one day opening a studio to help share the knowledge of his passion with students who may not have the funds or equipment to do so. Frazier's main musical instrument, a flute he named Theodore, is a vital part of everything he is doing at Berklee. From writing songs to finding his passion, Frazier and Theodore are a dynamic duo. Frazier's influences for his songwriting range from J-Dilla, Lianne La Haves, Jordan Rakei, Adele, and John Legend.
