Berklee Summer in the CityJacob McCaslin
Jacob McCaslin is an award-winning vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer. Influenced at a young age by various soul and blues artists, McCaslin has been advancing in many areas of the music world. Before taking any music lessons, he was recognized as an advanced guitarist and a gifted singer. He has been composing and producing his own music for more than nine years, and is still growing as a musician as he continues his studies as a scholarship student at Berklee.
In 2011, Jacob won KTUB's One Song One Chance songwriting competition, which afforded he and his band at the time, Jacob McCaslin & Roll the Credits, the opportunity to record an EP in a professional studio. In May of 2012, the band released the EP Walk a Mile, which was limited to only 200 physical copies that quickly sold out. The EP is now available on iTunes. After the success of Walk a Mile, the band began work on an album, Cautionary Tales.
