J. Hoard

J. Hoard has performed and recorded with award-winning artists and producers such as Victor Wooten, Tracy Pierce, and Kim Burrell. His background role cultivated his leadership skills as the visionary behind J. Hoard and the Greenhouse People, a band he formed to popularize live music that connects to the soul. J. Hoard is a singer, songwriter, arranger, and teacher who is crazy about music and life.

Having shared the stage with groups such as Ozomotli and Afrika Bambaataa, Mad Satta is a sophisticated eight-piece band merging elements of old-school soul with hip-hop, rock, and jazz to create an intriguing sound that spans generations. Joanna Teters confidently fronts the band with grace and depth beyond her years. She is joined by: bass player and principal composer for the group, Ben Carr; keyboardist Kevin Theodore; guitarist Ted Morcaldi; multi-instrumentalist and drummer Zane West; Collin Wade on alto saxophone; Eric Zeiser on trumpet; and Jason Fitch on tenor saxophone.
