The cats are back by popular demand. Enjoy a 75-minute romp through the internet’s finest cat videos, sharing in the delight of thousands of cat lovers worldwide. Curated by festival director Will Braden, creator of the Henri, le Chat Noir videos and host for the evening, this year’s collection includes the most touching, hilarious, and artistic internet cat videos of our time.

Since its debut in 2012 at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the festival has inspired hundreds of news headlines and launched an international tour. The fourth edition of the festival drew more than 11,000 to the Minnesota State Fair and launched a third tour, including sold-out stops throughout the United States and overseas.

CatVideoFest is a social purpose corporation with the goal of raising money and awareness for cats in need. Our partner is Boston’s Forgotten Felines, a group of dedicated caretakers who feed, TNR (trap, neuter, and return), and re-home friendly cats. The evening also will include a visit from Berklee mascot Mingus the Cat and fun activities in the lobby.

Videos from Braden’s Henri, le Chat Noir series have been viewed more than one million times, and have been featured on news outlets such as the Huffington Post and ABC News. Film critic Roger Ebert called Henri 2: Paw de Deux the “best internet cat video ever made.”

“Proof that 13,000 fans of cat videos can’t be wrong.” — BuzzFeed

“You love them. You mock them. But one thing you can’t do is stop watching them. Yes, we’re talking about internet cat videos. Which either represent the pinnacle of human creative achievement, or a sign that the apocalypse is nigh. Or both.” — Los Angeles Times
