Summer in the CityHari Kim
From South Korea, pianist Hari Kim has studied abroad in Boston for three years. Since she was three years old, Hari has played piano based on classical music. Her musical ability has been inspired by mentors in the Global Jazz Institute such as Danilo Pérez, Joe Lovano, and Terri Lyne Carrington. As a full-tuition scholar at Berklee College of Music, she succeeded on her academic path as awarded from the Piano Department for outstanding musicianship. Hari will present some contemporary music on her piano trio influenced by Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, and Keith Jarret.
