Fresh Prospects: Hand Made House / Michal
Hand Made House, an alternative pop-rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, was founded in 2016 by Tucker Click, Josh Nardine, and Maison Thomas-Eudy.
The members met as students at Berklee College of Music and adopted their name as a symbol, making every show feel like home and encouraging a sense of belonging for each audience member. Later, Mark Donohue and Amin Mortada joined the band. Hand Made House’s music is reminiscent of its influences, such as 5 Seconds of Summer, Kings of Leon, Young the Giant, Nothing but Thieves, and the 1975.
Michal, an Israeli singer-songwriter majoring in performance at Berklee College of Music, mixes neo-soul and alternative R&B with dream-pop styles. Michal, whose debut album is scheduled for release in 2020, features a sound that shifts between synthesizers, vibrant guitars, electronic beats, and her velvet voice.
