United Kingdom native Greg Holden is a singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles. He has gained recognition as an independent artist over the past few years, and is likely best known for writing American Idol winner Phillip Phillips’s debut single, “Home,” which sold more than 5 million copies in the United States and earned Holden an ASCAP Pop Award. His music also has been featured on notable television shows including Sons of Anarchy, Private Practice, and One Tree Hill. In addition to receiving praise from industry staples such as Cher, Josh Groban, Sara Bareilles, Michael Bublé, and Zane Lowe, Holden has worked to prioritize philanthropy and establish himself as a socially conscious artist. His song “The Lost Boy” raised more than $50,000 for the Red Cross, and his acceptance anthem “Boys in the Street” benefited LGBTQ youth through the Everyone Is Gay organization. (Tom Hanks also hailed it as “the perfect song.”)

Holden nearly gave up on the music business early in his career. After self-funding his Tony Berg–produced sophomore album, I Don’t Believe You (2011), the label that was to release it folded. He then went into debt during a sold-out tour of Europe, so much so that he almost quit while on the road. Holden decided to persist despite these setbacks, leading to the well-deserved success of “Home.” From there, he self-funded his third studio album, the critically acclaimed Chase the Sun (produced by Greg Wells in 2015), later releasing the record via Warner Bros. Records.

After nearly three years, Holden jumped back in the ring with his impressive new single “On the Run,” produced by the legendary Butch Walker (Katy Perry, Panic! at the Disco, Weezer). The uplifting anthem features catchy hooks that seamlessly mesh with Holden’s strong, heartfelt vocals.

Ben Thornewill has been touring and releasing music with his band, Jukebox the Ghost, for over ten years. With five studio albums, a live album, and two classical piano improvisation albums under his belt, Thornewill will be releasing his first fully produced solo record later this year. Combining his pop aesthetic with his classical background, he is continuing in the rich piano tradition of Rufus Wainwright and Regina Spector.
