Global Connections: Master of Music in Contemporary Performance (Global Jazz Concentration) Session 2
Global Initiatives is excited to host this Global Connections Series session about the Master of Music in Contemporary Performance (Global Jazz Concentration). This contemporary performance degree offers advanced studies to instrumentalists and vocalists who demonstrate excellent musical proficiency and the desire to develop their performance careers. The program provides advanced musicians with opportunities to develop their artistry through participation in a wide array of performance projects. Through this intensive one-year, full-time program, students will have the opportunity to be mentored by and learn from some of the current top jazz musicians, including Danilo Pérez, Terri Lyne Carrington, John Patitucci, George Garzone, and Joe Lovano.
In this collaborative session, Pérez along with Marco Pignataro and current BGJI students will share their vision and experience of the institute and how the program empowers them to better our world.
