Global Connections invites legendary Venezuelan artist Oscar D'León for a conversation with Berklee students. Known as the "Pharaoh of Salsa,” D'León was named Best Salsa Artist at the 2014 Venezuela Music Awards, and has had a successful touring and recording career spanning 50 years. Join us for this conversation in which D'León shares his compelling stories about his musical journey.

This session is made possible by generous support of Berklee Latino and Latin Music Studies at Berklee. It will be hosted by student Camila Cortina and Oscar Stagnaro, professor of bass, executive director of Berklee Latino, and Latin Music Studies faculty advisor.
