Gary Kerkezou is a drummer and violinist currently attending Berklee College of Music.
Born in Greece to a family of musicians, she picked up the violin at age 6 and soon followed her father on his tours. At age 15, she started drum lessons and discovered jazz, which has been her passion ever since.
Since enrolling at Berklee in 2015, Kerkezou has studied with professors such as Neal Smith, Billy Kilson, Ralph Peterson, Yoron Israel, and Jason Palmer. She has performed at venues such as Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, the Jazz Loft, the Side Door, the Regatta Bar, and the Berklee Performance Center; and with artists such as Bill Pierce, Javon Jackson, Christian McBride, and Jacob Collier.
