How will the future affect you as a business person or an artist? Attend the Future of the Music Industry panel and find out. Esteemed industry personnel will be discussing the key issues of royalty claiming and copyright, and how the solutions to these issues might pertain to existing technologies such as streaming as well as to future technologies, such as virtual reality.

For this event, we will feature a panel of intellectual property experts, including Amanda Schreyer, David Herlihy, and David Weissman.

Amanda Schreyer is counsel to the Corporate Department and Intellectual Property Group of Sullivan & Worcester's Boston office. Schreyer represents creative entrepreneurs, digital influencers, influencer marketing agencies, media publishers, video game developers, writers, filmmakers, and other intellectual property holders in connection with a wide variety of transactional matters.

David Herlihy maintains a law practice which concentrates in entertainment law, intellectual property, copyright, trademark, licensing, and new media. His clients include authors, publishers, record companies, recording artists, songwriters and composers, among others.

An associate at Holland and Knight’s Boston office, David Weissman’s intellectual property practice includes data privacy and security matters, such as security breach responses and online data protection, as well as a variety of work involving information technology practices and procedures, software development and implementation, and intellectual property licensing.
