Fresh Prospects: Elodie / Georgia Parker / Natalie Staples
Fresh Prospects is a monthly concert series featuring some of Berklee College of Music’s best upcoming musicians. This March, we’re excited to present the indie-folk sounds of Elodie, Georgia Parker, and Natalie Staples.
Elodie is an indie-folk guitarist and songwriter based in Boston, Massachusetts. With the support of her band, the True North, she hones a sound that pushes the boundary between indie-folk and rock. Her songwriting style is honest, reflective, and subtly melancholic.
Georgia Parker, a singer-songwriter from Kent, England, is influenced by folk and indie rock and has a passion for writing, recording, and performing. She tells stories of love, angst, and pain, with bitterly honest lyricism and a voice that conveys heart-wrenching emotions. Her debut EP Too Far Gone can be found on all streaming platforms.
Natalie Staples is a Boston-based singer with a love for pop-inspired indie sounds. Her unique voice stems from her love of captivating lyrics and powerful vocalists such as MUNA, Samia, and Donna Missal. Her debut single, “Whites of My Eyes,” is available on all streaming platforms.
