Summer in the CityFrancesca Crowley
Francesca Alice Crowley is an American modern folk singer-songwriter. Some of the places she has performed in the Los Angeles area include the Playa Vista Farmer’s Market and the Republic of Pie as well as locations in the Greater Boston area such as Starbucks and Café 939. Francesca’s influences include inspirational songwriters such as Stevie Knicks, Norah Jones, Bob Dylan, and Joni Mitchell. Being a futurist, she strives to create new and different music about her life. Crowley has added drummer Mateo Londono and bass player Nismah Osman to enhance her sound. They create something that once was an acoustic sound and make it bigger and brighter. In September 2014, she began studying at Berklee College of Music and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in professional music with a focus in songwriting and music business/management, and a minor in music technology. She plans to graduate in May 2018 and return home to Los Angeles to pursue her passions: singing and songwriting, and hopes to work at a publishing company.
