Forum Featuring Jack DeJohnette
This week's Berklee Global Jazz Institute (BGJI) forum will feature Jack DeJohnette, a National Endowment for the Arts master and a Grammy Award-winning drummer, pianist, and composer. It will be moderated by jazz jouranlist Ted Panken, whose work appears in Downbeat and Jazz Times, among other outlets.
The forum will also feature:
- Danilo Pérez '88, BGJI artistic director, Grammy Award-winning pianist, composer, and humanitarian
- Terri Lyne Carrington '83 '03H, Berklee percussion professor, Grammy Award-winning drummer, composer, and bandleader
- Joe Lovano '72 '98H, Berklee's Gary Burton Chair for Jazz Performance, Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and composer
- John Patitucci, Berklee artist in residence, Grammy Award-winning bassist and composer
- Marco Pignataro, BGJI managing director, award-winning saxophonist and composer

The Berklee Global Jazz Institute is a performance program designed to foster creativity and musicianship through various musical disciplines, with pianist and composer Danilo Pérez as its artistic director.
