Firas Zreik is a Palestinian kanun player and composer who is studying at Berklee College of Music on a full scholarship, double-majoring in jazz composition and performance.

Born in Haifa, Israel, in 1995 to a musical family, he began playing kanun and studying Arabic music at Beit-Al Musica Conservatory at age 11. Before that, he played cello for three years and studied Western Classical music. His mother Amal Murkus is a leading Palestinian singer of international renown. Zreik started touring with her in and outside Europe, recording and composing songs for her while becoming an essential part of her band.

Zreik has performed with many great artists, including Roger Waters, Shreya Ghoshal, Shankar Mahadevan, Simon Shaheen, and Aynur Doğan. He also has performed at prestigious venues such as Lincoln Center, Boston Symphony Hall, Institut du Monde Arabe, Palais des Congrès, and Teatro Mediterraneo.
