In 2009, Jeff Dorenfeld presented a standing-room-only Envisioning event on live music and touring. As he stated then, technology has changed the face of the music industry, resulting in fewer recorded sales, while live music had registered record-breaking ticket sales and grosses. The industry hasn’t changed regarding artist income; music royalties are still low, but show grosses are still breaking records. Come join Dorenfeld as he revisits this topic in 2017, with a group of alumni who are changing today’s touring game.

Panelists include:

  • Gerry Barad – COO, Live Nation Global Touring
  • Jared Braverman – VP of touring, Live Nation
  • Steve Cielinski - Director of promoter services, Songkick
  • John Czajkowski – Tour manager, tour accountant, production manager (Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, Katy Perry, Shania Twain, Ringo Starr, Oasis, and many more)
  • Meagan Fair - Assistant to agent Duffy McSwiggin, Paradigm
  • Eric Gardner - Director of booking, concerts, and special events, Oak View Group
