In this clinic, John Edward Hasse of the Smithsonian Institution lays out an invigorating and compelling case for why more than ever before we need the arts in our lives. Hasse is the longtime curator of American music at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History and the 2017–2018 Herb Alpert Scholar in Residence in Berklee's Professional Education Division.
