The haunting sounds of the double reeds will fill the air on Halloween. The annual event will revisit Jeri Sykes's "Perfect Zebra," written for one of the first Octoboefests, and will feature Francine Trester's "Dialogues," written for Barbara LaFitte. The program will also show off the unique timbres of chamber works by Nehlybel for bassoon quartet, Tansman for wind trio, and conclude with Poulenc's sextet for piano and winds. Costumes are encouraged. Come celebrate 13 years of double reeds at Berklee.
