Red Room at Cafe 939
939 Boylston Street
United States

Daniel Harper hails from Greenville, South Carolina, where he first developed his singer-songwriting skills into his own brand of folk/western meets R&B/soul. The Nashville-bound vocalist and guitar picker picked up his bluesy-soulful sound from a southern upbringing in New Orleans and the Carolinas. Joining him and his band will be Oak Park, California native Devon Clarke Geyer, along with some other very special guests. Also appearing are Tumbleweed Company and Natural Forces.

Daniel Harper's engaging stage presence frequently draws comparisons to legends from Elvis Presley to Bruce Springsteen. Harper also possesses a keen sense for story-telling, reminiscent of Tom Waits or Bob Dylan.

A new sound is nothing without an old soul. Keeping this in mind, Tumbleweed Company strives to craft each song with equal parts care and exploration. Musical alchemists, the six-piece group brings listeners a sound that combines the comfort of the South with the adventure of the West, all while maintaining the member's Northeastern roots of passion and academia (planted at Berklee). Mixing folk and blues, Tumbleweed Company rocks and rolls. Four-part harmonies ring over an orchestra of unique instruments, allowing a range of emotion that lends itself perfectly to musical storytelling. A cacophony of soulful sounds that is sure to inspire, the music of Tumbleweed Company will continue to echo.

Natural Forces is a rock duo made up of two musicians who grew up on opposite sides of the United States. Catchy hooks, thoughtful lyrics, and hard-hitting grooves are the elements that make up the band's sound. Natural Forces are constantly in the studio and they are starting to share their raw and organic music with live audiences.
