The Red Room presents the New Brew Lunchtime Concert Series. Every Tuesday and Thursday, Berklee students, staff, or faculty help you either slow down or power up for the afternoon. Concerts are free, all-ages, and open to the public. Bring your lunch, snag a coffee, and grab a seat for our New Brew performances—they're good for the soul. Today's featured artist is Brittany Mahrer.

It's every artist's dream that someday, people will look back on their work and call it worth listening to. Mahrer wouldn't mind if people decided to look at her work sooner rather than later. Preferably before she gets too old to curse on stage. Currently a student at Berklee focusing on piano, Mahrer has a songwriting style that can only be described as "deliciously varying." From beautiful ballads to hard-hitting pop, she impresses audiences with her music and lyrics, no matter what the genre. You may even get to hear a musical theater piece of hers, someday. She dares you to listen.
