Bass player Mario Carrillo presents in his senior recital two of his many musical sides. Using improvisation as the tool to create music in the moment, he will team up with his teacher and Berklee faculty member Bruno Råberg and with a quartet of fellow students to further explore the sonic possibilities of improvised music. The second half of the concert will feature Spain the Lighter, a group of extremely talented musicians from Spain that dive into the best of their country's rich musical heritage to present it to the audience with a fresh and surprising yet powerful and modern vision.
