Berklee Summer Concert SeriesBuffalo Soul
Berklee's 2010 Summer Concert Series has an evening of reggae at Jamaica Pond where the serene pool and rolling hills make a natural backdrop for vibing to positive music that moves the body and soul.
Buffalo Soul is a heady force of futuristic reggae fusion sending a message of purely positive vibrations. The Boston-based group has shared the stage with other up-and-coming reggae greats such as the Aggrolites, Passafire and Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, and continues to make its own way into the Future Roots music scene. Embracing a love for experimental music, Buffalo Soul is on the steady path of creating a reggae soul revolution.
Buffalo Soul will perform, weather permitting, at the Pinebank Promontory, overlooking Jamaica Pond, in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston. The concert is free and is presented with the Emerald Necklace Conservancy.
Berklee at Jamaica Pond is part of Berklee's 2010 Summer Concert Series, which brings free musical performances by Berklee faculty, students, and alumni to neighborhoods in the Boston area and beyond.
