Playing for Change was inspired by a common belief that music can break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. Following filmmaker Mark Johnson, viewers travel around the world as musicians from every corner create music together from their separate locations. The viral impact of Playing for Change has already had a global impact, with the filmmaker and musicians appearing on the Colbert Report and PBS, and reaching millions of viewers on YouTube.

Followed by a Q&A and discussion about music and social change with faculty and community members.

Presented by the Office for Cultural Diversity.
