The recipient of the 2003 Heinz Award for the Arts and Humanities for her work as a scholar and artist in African American cultural history and music, Reagon serves as curator emeritus at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History. Also featuring choral music sung by Berklee students and directed by Renese King '90, choral director, Union United Methodist, Waymark SDA Churches. Original music by Mark Simos, Songwriting Department, and Keppie Coutts '07, project coordinator in the Office for Cultural Diversity. Original music by the student winner of the Songwriting and Social Change Contest.
