Inspired by true events, this new Broadway-style musical love story and time-traveling sea adventure is presented by faculty composer Michael Wartofsky, lyricist/librettist Kathleen Cahill, off-Broadway director and visiting artist Daniella Topol, and a student cast of 14. The staged-reading format of the full-length show invites the audience to imagine a future fully staged production. Originally commissioned and developed by North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, Massachusetts, The Navigator was further developed through a Faculty Development Award in 2006, and is presented this year as part of the inaugural Berklee Musical Theater Season.
