In 2002, the directors of Delta Rising: A Blues Documentary followed San Francisco musician Chris Cotton to Clarksdale, Mississippi, where he recorded an album with some old friends in the old-style analog, scratchy, dirty way. Along the way they met some amazing folks and fell in love with Clarksdale. So come and step inside and get to know a little about the Delta blues—the people and soul of American music through this documentary.

The film features Mose Allison, Scott Bomar, James Cotton, David "Honeyboy" Edwards, Morgan Freeman, "Big" Jack Johnson, James "Super Chikan" Johnson, Grace Kelley, Lala, Bill Luckett, Jimbo Mathus, James Montgomery, Willie Nelson, "Sunshine" Sonny Payne, "Pinetop" Perkins, Razerblade, Stan Street, Fred Taylor, Dick Waterman, and Ruby Wilson. Directed by Michael Afendakis and Laura Bernieri.
