Marcus Santos's AfroBrazil group has a special sound and energy inspired by Santos's hometown, Bahia, Brazil. This is a a very upbeat and interactive show. The 12-piece percussion ensemble guarantees a spectacular show combining traditional Brazilian grooves like samba and axé with funk, rock, jazz, and hip-hop.

Santos has performed worldwide in festivals from Japan to the U.S. He is also featured in BOSE's Musically Speaking II DVD, Rush's drummer Neil Peart's newest DVD, and the Sony Pictures movie Rachel Getting Married with Ann Hathaway. Santos is endorsed by Latin Percussion Instruments, Sabian Cymbals, Vic Firth Sticks, Remo Drumheads, Gibraltar Hardware, and Cooperman Frame Drums.

Mikael Ringquist has dozens of recordings to his credit and has performed at venues on five continents with various artists such as Anoushka Shankar, Claudio Roditi, Jonatha Brooke, and Victor Borge. His most recent major project has been as leader of Orquesta La Pasión, a group of handpicked musicians that performs composer Osvaldo Golijov's highly acclaimed and Grammy-nominated composition "La Pasión según San Marcos."
