Duet Explorations: Yoron Israel & Laszlo Gardony

This concert is part of the Berklee College of Music Percussion Days 2008: “Remembering Max Roach.” Drummer Yoron Israel (assistant chair of percussion) along with pianist Laszlo Gardony (professor of piano) will be performing works that the legendary drummer Max Roach recorded in various duet settings with Abdullah Ibrahim, Cecil Taylor, and Dizzy Gillespie. The compositions performed is this concert will be selected from Stream of Consciousness (1977), Historic Concerts (1979), and Max and Dizzy in Paris (1989).
