Inspirational jazz pianist George W. Russell Jr.'s performances range from a solo piano, to a groove-oriented jazz trio, to a soulful, fresh-sounding ensemble that arouses the listener's intellect and touches the soul. As a composer his music and his harmonic approach to improvisation has jazz enthusiasts everywhere tilting an ear. Russell has shared the stage with a number of legendary jazz artists including George Duke, Bob Moses, Billy Pierce, Stan Strickland, Stanley Clarke, Lenny White, and many more. His latest self-titled CD places Russell firmly on the radar and solidifies him as a fresh voice for inspirational jazz.

Lynette Gittens is a professional singer and actress with an extensive background in live and recorded performances, community organizing, and outreach via the arts. She has been affiliated with the American Federation for Television and Radio Artists and can be seen in commercials for radio and television. Gittens has performed with local and national theater companies such as North Country Theater, Our Place Theater Project, and City Players. Her work includes voice-overs, commercials, demo recordings, and jingles. She has performed with Michael Buble, John Robinson, Jetro DaSilva, and Elizabeth Withers of Color Purple fame, to name a few. Lead vocalist with Soul of Boston, Gittens has traveled extensively nationally and internationally performing various styles from jazz to gospel as she continues her work in the community as an artists advocate.
