The Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra will be premiere John Patitucci's Fantasy on a River Theme for six-string electric bass and orchestra, with the composer as soloist. The program will also feature the BCSO Student Composition Competition score, 8 De Febrero by Vicente Ortiz Gimeno, as well as Berklee composition faculty Jonathan Holland's Halcyon Sun. In honor of John Williams's 80th birthday, selections from Schindler's List and Star Wars will round out the program.
